Personal Life
Words are what I love. When I was bored as a child (9–12) I would sit and look up words in the dictionary and then study the origins of words and the synonyms and antonyms of words. This would lead me on a trail that could occupy me for hours. Did you ever wonder how nerds become nerds? That’s how this one developed. Few things please me more than finding the precise word which expresses the exact feeling or nuance. I have read many times that the way to get known on the multi-medias is that you have to publish something constantly, whether it is any good or not. Whether you really have anything to say. I can’t do that. I respect myself and my readers too much to vomit -please excuse the course word- any bilge just for the sake of staying in the public eye. I worked in the field of interior design for most of my adult life. While I worked I also raised cattle, by myself. The learning experiences themselves supply many amusing stories. When I sold the cattle I bought houses to renovate and rent . This provided enough amusing and horror stories to fill a book- which I have done. I sometimes wonder how I got it all done. Probably just by Not looking back. My sister used to tell me to stop and turn around once in a while. I guess I have finally reached a stage in my life where I can do that. I appreciate those who have chosen to spend their precious time on my musings. I have more time to do that now.
